Q: can anyone help me please? my daughter has locked her i pod by entering her password too many times incorrectly? help?

Please could someone help me?

My daughter has locked her i pod touch by entering her password incorrectly too many times.

it is telling me to connect it to i tunes and i understand that i should be able to restore the factory settings but when i connect it to my computer it is saying tht the i pod is locked, please unlock it. but obviousley i cant without  the password!!!! Help!
