May 7, 2013 7:26 AM in response to tk3750by matt00,Hi tk3750
I found the following information which may be helpful:
iOS: Changing the signed-in iTunes Store Apple ID account
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1311
Changing your Apple ID account
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in.
Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID.
Thanks,
Matt M.

It will ask for her account information if you are not using her ID.
Purchases are linked to the Apple ID they are purchased with.
If that is happening, you will want to remove Apps purchased with her account and only install Apps aquired with your account.
Take care,
ivan
