I have problems with Lion 10.7.5 and IMovie 9.0.8.

Every time I open iMovie it "quits unexpectedly".
I followed 2 of the most popular and succesful suggestions in the other discussions on this forum:
1. Deleting the useless components that may create conflict (in the quicktime folder)

2. Delete the file com.apple.iMovieApp... in the folder: Library---prefences--

The problem persists. Any suggestions? Please help

As listed on the title I have Lion 10.7.5 and IMovie 9.0.8.
