Q: iPhoto did not pick up the photos I migrated.  What can I do?

my migrated photos were not picked up by iPhoto, and I can't find them. How do I get them?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

If you used Migration Assistant to transfer your pictures from a PC, it's normal that you don't see them in iPhoto. Also, Migration Assistant creates a new user with the transferred data, so open  > Log Out, and log in the new user. Then, open iPhoto and drag all the pictures from Pictures folder (if they were there in the PC) to iPhoto
