ipad 4th generation with error -1

Hi i hve an ipad with a -1 error after udating with ios 6.1.3 i hve tried restoring several times but am unable to restore please help

Have you ever rolled back the OS on this iPad or jailbroken it. If yes that can sometimes trigger that error. If no, you have a hardware error and will need to get it serviced.

Hi deggie i didnt do any of that it was just an upgrade i did and I tried sending it to our local apple store but they were unable to help can you show me how i can repair it myself I live in Ghana.

If it is a hardware failure you should be in warranty and will need to get an authorized apple repair site to exchange it.
