I can send messages from both devices but can only receive on my phone. I think it might have something to do with pop3.live.com + the port number but i am not sure. Can you help?
What version of OS X are you running?
I'm using OS X 10.8.3.
i would suggest re-entering your password in both incoming and outgoing mail servers
or you could try just deleting and re-adding the account
contact your email provider for help since they will have the proper email settings

Live mail is a POP system, everything will be deleted, so backup first.
I can't receive emails on my Macbook, but can on my iPhone. Same email account. HELP!!!!!!
