iOS 6 Glitch?

Hello! I have an iPod 4th generation and have just updated my iOS to 6.1.3, and am having problems. My iMessage periodically will send messages, but most of the time won't send anything. My FaceTime is also acting up. I am no longer getting push notifications and I've tried everything from turning it off to resetting it. It's not my connection because all else works. My notifications will work periodically like the iMessage. I read the angry online forums about iOS 6, and I should've listened!! Is there anyway to downgrade, get iOS 6.1.4, or fix the issue? I like iOS 6, but I could do with out the problems. THANKS!!

Downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple.

iOS 6.1.4 is iPhone 5 only

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Tried all those. Will restoring factory settings delete anything?

It erases the iPod but you still have the latest iOS.
