Q: Deleting photostream photos

How can I delete photostream from once device and but keet it saved on another device? For example if I want to delete it from my phone without deleting from my MacBook.

    Howdy, soccerifichika!

     

    You'd want to make sure that the photo has been copied somewhere other than the Photostream (iPhoto for instance) before deleting.

    Copies of Photo Stream photos you have saved to your Camera Roll on an iOS device or imported into events in your iPhoto or Aperture library, and photos you have copied into a folder on your PC that's not part of My Photo Stream, will not be deleted when you delete photos from Photo Stream.

     

    If set up for Photostream, iPhoto copies Photostream photos into your library automatically as soon as they are downloaded (after opening iPhoto while connected to the internet). If the photos appear in either the Events or Photos section of iPhoto, then it'd be safe to delete the photo from your Photostream.
