If the charger port in my ipod is broken, does the warranty cover it?

- Maybe yes maybe no. If caused by a defect then yes. If caused by misuse like forcing the connecting in backwards then no.

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store and find out

The only way you can get that question answered it to take it to Apple so that can inspect it to determine if it is damage that is causing the problem or not.

If it is damage the warranty will not cover it.
