I cannot drag my purchased audiobook from my itunes to my iphone 5. I see the audiobook and I see my phone but for some reason I am unable to drag the book to the phone.
I am using Windows 7.

What are your sync settings in iTunes for the audio content? Do you have the option to manually manage content selected from the Summary page of your device in iTunes?

This usually happens when the iPhone is synced to another library (Different PC maybe you reacently changed your Mac/PC? ), if you follow jeancks advice you should get prompted to erase the iPhone and sync it to the current PC/Mac. After that you can normally drag as usual.
