If you're using an ISP mail server, and the ISP says it's a server issue, then it that's what it is. Apparently the ISP is too stupid or lazy to fix its own mail server. Use another mail provider.
Hmm . . . The problem with following that suggestion is that my present ISP, Earthlink, also hosts my website. I wouldn't want to screw that up.
I can't send mail to or receive mail from Gmail users. I once could, but not lately, and this is a problem for me. I've tried, unsuccessfully, to resolve it through Earthlink. They confirmed that I can't, but couldn't fix it. I'm using OS X Mountain Lion.
