Help!!!! I can't find the airplay icon on my iphone5.

There is no airplay app, no icon for one.
If you are on the same wifi network as an airplay compatible device, have an airplay compatible app open, you should have the icon visible near the playback controls.
I am a group fitness instructor trying to connect to an a/v receiver that's airplay compatible. Can you recommend an airplay compatible app???
If you are playing a song then the airplay logo appears bottom right of screen
There is no icon.....
Now that is odd, airplay was introduced for iOS 4.2 and later. You have 6.0.1 so it should be there. maybe you need to restart your phone
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost).
