Hello.

My client asked me for help with his Apple iPhone 4S in his e-mail -- "my iphone has gone totally dead. nothing happens when I press power button or any button..." It is still running on iOS 5 (not 6) and is about two years old.

Is it really dead? Thank you in advance.

iPhone 4S, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3), 13.3" MacBook Pro (9,2/MD102ll/A)

Restart iPhone: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost).
