Hello.
My client uses Notes in his iPhone 4S' iOS5. How come iTunes doesn't synchronize them to his 13.3" MacBook Pro with Mac OS X 10.8.3 and all updates? We didn't see any settings for Notes in iTunes. Mac OS X's Notes seem to want accounts? Why? We just want to do it locally.

Notes is an app now, go into your applications and double click on notes. To sync notes you need to sign into his iCloud account on both devices.

So, there's no way to do it without an account and do it locally? He doesn't want to have his private data on the Internet.

Unless I'm mistaken, the article indicates that Notes cannot be sync'd via iTunes on OSX 10.8 or later.... so wouldn't that require iCloud to sync them for this poster?

You are correct I see my mistake, that is not possible.
Syncing Notes with iTunes and OS X Mountain Lion v10.8
You can sync with the Notes app using IMAP or iCloud. Syncing Notes using iTunes is no longer supported on OS X v10.8 and later.

That is how I am reading it. So Apple is forcing users to use do it online. 😟 Is there a third party program that can then?
I'm not aware of any since I use iCloud. And I have to tell you that instantaneous updates on all of my devices when I update my notes, is a great thing....

Am I reading this correctly that my client needs to download the free Fliq Notes App and buy this Missing Sync for Mac OS X? If so, then I am confused why Fliq Notes app is needed. Shouldn't Missing Sync access iOS' Notes directly?
I am not sure, but I don't think you need to use Fliq Notes, Docs and Task, it just states the app works with Fliq.

Thanks. Confusing. I wished there was a trial version to try it instead of paying for it right away. I am going to contact Mark/Space about this and other questions.
I finally got an e-mail reply/response from Mark/Space. It only does it on wifi, and not USB cable. 😟 Also, I don't need Fliq. 🙂
