iTunes will not play in iCloud

My iCloud icon looks like it is loading - diagonal lines moving across the cloud. But nothing will play. I can see all my music, my sound is turned on. Still nothing will play. Play button does not respond. Help!

Hi luckyjazz,

I understand that you are having issues with music playback. From the description you provided, it sounds like the music has not been uploaded to iTunes in the Cloud:

iTunes 11 for Windows: Symbols used in iTunes

User uploaded file

Cloud with a diagonal slash

The song isn’t eligible to be uploaded to your iCloud library. For example, the song file might be larger than 200 MB, or encoded at 96 Kbps or less.

Thanks,

If the iCloud symbol has diagonal lines across it, iTunes match is still trying to connect to iTunes and won't work.

User uploaded file

You will need the icon to turn white before iTunes match will work.

User uploaded file

Mine usually loads within 3 to 4 seconds, if yours hasn't loaded in a few minutes try relaunching iTunes, if that doesn't help, try restarting your router and trying again.
