So, I am just curious about the iOS 6.1.4 update it is just for iPhone 5's Only? If so, what does it help? I know I see it says Update Audio Profile for speakerphone but does it have any issues after updating? Is it a necessary update? If it is necessary what issues was the Audio profile for speakerphone having before that made this a necessary update?

My automatically updated a day or two ago and since then my phone continues to reboot on its own ramdonly throughout the day. Also, yesterday, I got a call for my husband on my phone and he got a call for me on his phone, which ias never happened before. Mind you that is likely a provider and not a phone issue.

Has anyone else had the issue with the random rebooting?? and with their phone getting hotter than normal?

It seems the more "high tech" the iphone gets the more issues.... 😟

yes i updated and my battery is draining very fast plus overnight my data went over 402mb and i am using only wifi.this last happened in oct 2012 after the update and my data was used well over my limit.this time i am not going to pay for this again.i am going to call my operator to solve this data issue.check on web there are people who are on 1.5gb plan and after the update their data was used within few hours.

There are millions of iOS devices that have updated without issue You will only hear the issues and they are tiny by comparison

If you update using over the air I have mixed results Sometimes it works perfectly but key is to reset after update like rebooting a PC in similar scenario .

I have also had the odd issue with iPad mini which is easily resolved by restoring which puts a clean install of the iOS onto the device rather than an incremental update

Mustn't lose sight of fact that these devices are very small computers nothing more nothing less

ios 6.1.4
