Apple wireless keyboard will not pair up with iMac. Is there any way through Terminal that I could force the pairing. I've tried everything. Tks. jn

I have tried all the methods of connecting and pairing an Apple Wireless Keyboard listed in the Support Community documentation, to no avail. Is there a way through "Terminal" to pair it to the computer using a UNIX command. I'm running Mac O/S 10.5.8 on an iMac G5. No prob with the mouse. Tks. jn

Is this a new Apple wireless keyboard and mouse? If so, you will not be able to use it with that computer. See this Apple article for details, but specifically the keyboard requires Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or later. The iMac G5 of course will not run any operating system past 10.5.8.

Best of luck.
