Macbook pro constant hard freezes and kernel panics
Hi everyone,
Recently my macbook pro has been dealing with some hard freezing, and the only way for me to continue working is by holding down the power button and restarting the computer. I have no idea what is causing this as it happens randomly. I tried resetting PRAM and running disk utility (kernel paniked during this) with no luck. I've also heard of this possible cause as graphics card issues, and so I've also tried switching graphics cards (from better battery life to higher performance). I upgraded my RAM and HD from OWC to 8gb about 2 years ago, would it be possible this is the cause?
Also, every once in awhile I will be working and I will also receive the mac "kernel panic", in which the whole screen displays the error message "You Need to restart your computer. Hold down the power button for several seconds..."
