New ipad mini, cannot add any music to it?

Did you look inside the Music App?

I'll bump this, I have the same issue. Also this occurs with movies as well. Help!

I have the same problem. My apps downloaded to my iPad mini but the music won't. I have tried doing everything suggested but nothing works. Very disappointing! It seems numerous people have this problem. Apple need to update their guide and tell everyone how to sort it

The iTunes app on the iPad is used to purchase music. The MUSIC app on the pad is for listening to music. Did you actually look in the MUSIC app?

Nothing has downloaded to my music app - it's empty. When I access store from music app I can see I have 58 songs to download but when I tap to download I get a message saying' download error tap to retry'. It doesn't work no matter what I do

I guess if u are using ipad u should know the difference between itunes and the music app 🙂 so i just read the problems and i have the same issue. Let me explain myself probably the same with others; when Im downloading a music from itunes to my ipad i can see downloading tab and the percentage but when its completed and when i go the music app i cannot see the music its empty!! I dunno why really and i really know apple and pc stuff but i couldnt understand the reason. Even when i plug the device to the pc im selecting music and syncing after that in itunes it shows how much music do i have in the device and on the top i can see music names while syncing but after sync the music app is guess what? EMPTY 🙂 So, if someone can help us we'll be appreciated really cuz i have purchased many albums with my iphone and i cannot listen any music from the music app?!? with my ipad 🙂 Thanks for your helps! Ok so first there is a way u could listen to music download +downloader on your ipad then open itunes and go to music tab and select the music you want to add and then make a folder on your pc and drag all the songs onto it now go to your ipad and select apps scroll down to app sharing and select +downloader and click on add files and navigate the files to it and you only have to open +downloader and there it will be

Ok I solved this the other day!!!! First get iTunes on the computer and back up your ipad. Then.....start from scratch, basically reset and restore it. This will take a good 30 mins or so. Once I did that everything was working fine and all my music and videos now show up. Hope this works for you guys and good luck!

I'll try that but what will be the game saves? They'll be fine or they'll be gone? I dont want to lose them just tell me how to do it without losing anything i'll be appreciated 🙂 guess backing up is fine or if not need advices pls 🙂

All of my games backed up with either the back up or Game Center. Idk what one it was but it saved all my progress so nothing was lost! Good luck!

Have you tried restoring your iPad? If its that new, and you don't have that much content on it, it might be the best thing to do.

Wow! I thought Apple was supposed to be a great improvement over Microsoft, but here we are with the best presented solution of "restore your relatively-new iPad so it will work as designed." Extremely disappointing.
