i have been using the trial version of FCPX and i just purchased the full version yesterday.
i want to continue editing my movie (which is nowhere near finished)
how do i export it and continue to edit it exactly as i have been doing this whole time????
please help!

i opened up the full version and there is nothing inside, do i need to delete trial version first?

Where are the events and projects you were using in the trial version? You don't have to do anything.
They are currently open in the trial version (I downloaded it while trial version was open and never quit it) now I'm afraid to quit!
They're also in the movie folder where it always is

My trial expired yesterday. When I purchased the new version I seemed to have lost a weeks worth of work. I'm sick over it. How do I get yesterday's version back? Help!!!

I'm not sure if I'm responding correctly but I quit the trial as it is no longer working. The new version opens up a much older version than what I've been working on. I'm sick over it. I had newer interviews, graphics, etc... that are no longer there. Is there a way to retrieve it?

I got the trial a month ago. So I assume it's recent. It must have expired yesterday because I got the message when I went to resume editing today. I purchased the app on apple online. Once I installed I opened up my project and only an older version is showing up. I'm sick over it!
When I say only an older version is showing up I mean a much older version of my project. A weeks worth of editing and additional footage seems to be missing.

As you know, projects live in events and events live in libraries.
Downloading the paid version should not have disturbed any of that.
Please post a screen shot of your browser and library list with that library open.
