Q: HELP!? iPod is stuck in recovery!

I need someone's help! I've read around everywhere and can't figure out what to do. My iPod is stuck in recovery, I can't restore it on iTunes as my iTunes won't connect to iTunes store. The only thing my iPod shows is the apple logo and USB connector. Can anyone tell me what to do!?!?

Also, I had only put it in recovery mode as I followed instructions on how to update my iPod as it is stuck in iOS 4.3.3 but I want a later version as I cannot download any apps. Please someone help me, will he very grateful!

Do you mean that the computer/iTunes can't connect to the update server?

My iTunes on the computer cannot connect to the iTunes store. But before that when my iPod was actually working it came up saying it couldn't contact software update server when I was trying to update it.

Update Server
Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem
