my airport extreme base station is just blinking amber.
My airport extreme base station is just blinking amber and airport utility is not recognizing the base station. Can anyone help?

An AirPort Extreme that has been reset in this manner will appear in your MacBook Air's Wi-Fi menu as "New AirPort Extreme". Select it to configure it using AirPort Utility.
