foto.com requires that I have Java installed on the computer.
I installed it but it does not appear in my applications. (installation was successfull.
Any idea why and what I have to do ???

I don't have Java on my system to check, but doesn't it now install a Preference Pane in System Preferences rather than something in the Applications folder?
Java is not an application. It's a web plugin and a preference pane.

Having no Java on my system, I can't check this, but if you click on the Java Preference Pane in System Preferences is there an option to enable/disable it?
I just checked. There is no option on/off. I am assuming it is on...
