Website with calculator I'm trying to use says "inactive plug-in".

The website I'm in and trying to use the calculator states "inactive plug in". I went into "manage plug-ins" and I used to have this website in there, but it's gone (probably b/c of another recent problem I had and fixed). How do I get this to work? THANKS!

Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Hello Annefran33,

I was delving into our resources looking for additional causes for this issue, as you went to the first place I would have looked as well. I feel I have something here that just might get you back up and running. From an article about Java Security found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5319,

Users may re-enable Java if they encounter Java applets on a web page or Java Web Start applications by clicking the region labeled "Inactive plug-in" on a web page. This security measure is also available for OS Lion systems if the prior update "Java for OS X 2012-003" was not installed.

Take care,

Sterling
