iPhoto not synching all photos to iPhone 4S

My iPhone will not sync all the photos in my iPhoto to it, but it will sync all photos to my iPad 4th Gen. It says ' ....photos can't be synced to your iPhone, see iTunes for more information'. Anyone know how I can fix this
