I have had to buy 4 iphone 5 charging cables. They get twisted near where they plug and then charge in one position and eventually not at all. It's RIDICULOUS, im about to have to buy my 5th. My friends have had the same issue too. Does anyone have any suggestions

It happens a lot, even with other apple charging cables. Try putting a paper clip on the cord near where the connector is. That way, it's harder for it to twist.
