Ok, hello again. Now I managed everything you suggested and have one last question.
It´s been already a long conversation and I learned so much from that. I didn´t know booting in safe mode and so on… I really appreciate your help and your patience with my confusion and have to say thanks so much for all that!
Meanwhile I managed everything you suggested and have one last question.
I organized a DVD 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6 from which booting is possible – almost. But I had to delete or disassemble my internal SysHD for that, otherwise the machine always tried to boot from the HD although pressing the c key at startup. I recognized that earlier but didn´t worry about that.
I did the hardware test with all options on and it says the machine has no hardware problems, everything is fine. But…
…when booting in safe mode with the screen showing the boot progress (cmd shift v) I now can see what is the problem after I deleated the internal HD. The machine says:
SAM Multimedia: READ or WRITE failed, SENSE_KEY = 0x03, ASC = 0x02, ASCQ = 0x00
disk1s3: I/O error.
0 [Level 3] [ReadUID 0] [Facility com.apple.system.fs] [ErrType IO] [ErrNo 5] [IOType Read] [PBlkNum 623598] [LBlkNum 0] [FSLogMsgID 1149883438] [FSLog MsgOrder First]
0 [Level 3] [ReadUID 0] [Facility com.apple.system.fs] [DevNode root_device] [MountPt /] [Path /usr/lib/system/libmathCommon.A.dylib] [FSLogMsgID 1149883428] [FSLogMsgOrder Last]
Then it stops. Once it said that booting in verbose mode will open the input line, once it even finished the safe mode boot and went on but the screen was again black after that.
Does anybody know what that means? Is maybe something wrong with the IO buses and could this be a hardware or a firmware problem?
I found one guy who had obviously the same or a very similar problem and tried to find some help @ insanelymac.com:
But it´s really hardcore tech-talk and I can only try to understand what it means. Personally I´m not able to "compile a new .kext from source" with XCODE… sorry for that.
Can anybody translate what all that means?
Thank you so much
