Airplay Mirroring, sound out of both iMac and ATV?

Hi All,

I'm trying to mirror my new 2012 iMac to my 3rd gen Apple TV. Whenver I enable Mirroring, the desktop appears on both the iMac and the Apple TV. However, I can only select the audio source as the iMac or the Apple TV. I need video and sound to come from both. Any ideas?

I realize you can select multiple outputs with iTunes, but this doesn't help because I need both audio/video.
