Trouble with it starting up

I am having trouble getting my Ipad 2 to turn back on. its sits on the black screen with the apple. I accidently turned it off while it was updating like 7 apps could this have caused it? and what do i do to fix it? PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!🙂
