best way to sync MOTU and RME?

Hi,

What is the best way to slave a MOTU Traveler to an RME Octamic-D? Word clock or ADAT?

I'm using Fireface800 and two Octamics synced via wordclock without problem.
Before I tried with Adat and got "error syncing audio to midi" from time to time.

word clock is always better than adat for sync!
