I've replaced my video card in my mac pro, as I was removing the old video card, the PCI Express slot retaining clip broke, but I'm able to use my new install video card just fine while it's firmly screwed in place, should I be worried?

I've replaced my video card in my 2008 mac pro, as I was removing the old Geforce 8800 GT video, the PCI Express slot retaining clip broke on the end, but I'm still able to use my new Geforce GTX 680 nvidia fine while it's firmly screwed in place, it won't move, should I be worried about the retaining clip?
