Q: Unable to remove duplicate birthdays on iCloud.com

I recently turned on the "Show Birthdays calendar" option in the calendar preferences on iCloud.com. As the birthdays started to populate the calendar I was dismayed to noticed that all the birthdays were duplicated multiple (5-6) times on each day. I assumed that this was because I have deleted and re-imported my contacts from a vCard file a number of times and thought that by deleting all my contacts it may have resolved the problem. No such luck. I now have 0 contacts saved on iCloud, but still have multiple birthdays entries. Any advice here would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Norm - I followed the guidelines but so far no luck. It's rather odd as the problem isn't duplicated on my other devices (iPhone, iPad, MacBook) - seems to only affect the web based calendar.

I have the very same problem. After talking to the engineering team, a support representative told me the glitch would be fixed vey soon. Unfortunately, that was one year ago, and the problem persists. I feel hopeless… :-(

I've got the same problem. Fortunately, the duplicates are only on the cloud, not on the Mac devices - very odd, particularly as they are not coming from my Mac contacts. They can't come from Outlook or google sync contacts either, because I have now deleted the lot (after exporting to backup) and switched off Outlook sync.
