After migrating, I ended up with two accounts on my new computer

Hi,

I just bought a MacBook Pro with retina display and after going through the intitial set up steps, I used the migration assistant to transfer al my files from my previous MacBook Pro.

However, now when I start up the new computer, I am presented with three choices to sign in: my account from my old computer, my new computer's account and a guest account.

I would like to delete the new account and just used the one imported from my old computer because it has all the progrmas and files installed. However, I am affraid of screwing somthing up if I just go ahead and delete the new account. Is it safe to do so?

Thanks in advance for any help

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

Yes. Ensure that all of the data is backed up first.
