I want to install windows operating system on my mac book pro. I want to make sure that using the OEM windows 7 version will work just as good as any other. Does anyone have any idea if its ok?

You can use a OEM Windows version with the Mac, always that it's a "System Builder" version. However, note that you will only be able to use that Windows copy on your computer, not on others.

Make sure the OEM version is not branded to a computer such as DELL, HP, etc. These OEM versions are specific to the computer brand. The OEM version you want is the unbranded version for use on any new computer.
