MUSHKIN RAM??? Any stories to tell?

Hello to those more experienced...

I have found a local retailer that sell Mushkin RAM spec'd for the new MacBook. I have a black 2.0Ghz MacBook on order and want to bang in 2x 1 GB of Mushkin RAM.

Anyone here have stories to tell about their experience with Mushkin?

Mushkin makes great stuff - quality on par or better than what you will get from high end crucial memory.

Originally Mushkin was extreme memory for high performance (Gaming) but it appears they've moved on to regular stuff as well. Anyway I'm running a 1GB stick in my macbook and its great stuff.

I've found a local seller too ... Mushkin is literally 15 minutes from my house =) so if I have a warranty issue I don't have to go far!

Hello to those helpful users still following this thread. Thanks for all the feedback.

I did end up going with the Mushkin RAM from the local computer store. A NO BRAINER!

It is SO EASY to bang in your own RAM on these new MacBooks and I saved $430 Canadian dollars after taxes and all was said and done. (vs. going with 2 GB from Apple out of the box) Besides that, I have 2 sticks of 256 RAM.

Again... an absolute no brainer.
