my ipod mini won't sync
I had to re-install my Windows 7 OS due to a malfunction and subsequently re-install iTunes. I have a 2nd generation iPod mini and now iTunes won't sync.
Please help.

Does it appear in iTunes, and are you able to select it in iTunes, so that you see the iPod's Summary screen?
If you show the sidebar, does the iPod appear in the sidebar, under DEVICES? To show the sidebar, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar.
