My iPhone display got off all of sudden. I tried to open by clicking home button and power button but can't help myself.
I thought I should switch power off and on once but another problem is I can't switch the power off too. Can anyone help me please?

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost).
