kodak printer software loads as alias

I've installed Kodak AiO printer software several times recently trying to get the scanner software to work. I had 2 Kodak techs control my computer with no luck. I think I've noticed the problem but I don't know how to fix it. The Kodak AiO icon in the application folder on the internal hard drive is an alias and a very small file. About 4KB and it's supposed to be about 161 MB.

Has anyone experienced this or a similar problem.

I have an older Mac OSX 10.5 DUAL 2.0 POWER PC G5

PowerMac, Mac OS X (10.5), G5

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions.

Any devices that previously appeared in your Printer List and Fax List will need to be added again after resetting the printing system.
