trying to download the new adobe flash, it does not accept my password
The adobe flash program asks for a password right at the beginning of the procedure. Why doesn't it accept my password?
There haven't been any new Flash updates for some time. Where are you getting this from? This is one of the only legit places to download it.

What happens you put your password in? You will need to use an admin password, btw.
