Sharkk bluetooth keyboard for ipad, shows up and wont connect?

I have a Sharkk keboard for apple ipad 2-4 bluetooth, which fails to connect and am looking for help resolving.

I power on the keyboard and the amber led never lights, but bluetooth comes on for 5 seconds that starts flashing. Next i toggle the bluetooth setting in ipad and see the keboard. Next I select the keboard from ipad menu and am prompted to type a 4digit code on the keyboard to pair them. Unfortunatly, typing the code does nothing to pair with ipad. (pairing fails)

Both the keyboard and ipad are fully charged. I have tried the connect with power connected to the keyboard. Distance from touching, to several feet, doesn't change anything. Ipad has no issue pairing with my bluetooth headset.

What i am successful in doing is pairing my iphone with the Sharkk bluetooth keyboard, every time without fail. And the keyboard works great on the iphone.

1. Is the firmware on the keyboard bad and does anyone know of a Sharkk support site or email?

2. Did something get broken in the bluetooth interface with IOS 6.1.3?

3. Something I am not considering?

Have you seen this doc ,may help.

Did you reset ipad after updating ?

Curiously with the Apple B/T keyboards you have to clear the pairing before you can pair with a different device ????

I tried resetting the ipad (post update), no luck pairing Sharkk.

Next un-paired my bluetooth headset (so no items were connected to bluetooth on the ipad) and tried pairing the keyboard, unfortunatly with the same results (fail).

*Ok, the Sharkk keyboard works great on my buddies ipad2 running IOS 6.0!

Tested my ipad against an apple A1314 bluetooth keyboards and it pairs and works without issue.

>Could something in bluetooth driver have changed or been broken between IOS6.0 and 6.1.3?
