85W Genuine MagSafe Showing as 60W in System Information

I have a Geniune Macbook Pro 85W charger that I just noticed is showing up as 60W In System information on a macbook pro 2007 15 inch running 10.8.3. Does Anyone else have this? Is it a sign the charger is going out on it? I have noticed that when I play games on it that it will slowly drain the battery while plugged in via AC so it wouldn't suprise me if the charger wasn't putting out its intended wattage. Couldn't find anything on this anywhere to see if it was an OS bug with the new system, or if it genuinely may be the charger. I've done several SMC resets also.

MacBook Pro (15-inch 2.4/2.2 GHz), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

I find that very odd that the power adapter woulf show up as a 65 w when you say that it is a 85 w. I would take it to an Apple genious bar for verification.

In situations where the CPU/GPU is being used to maximum or near maximum capacity, the power adapter may not provide sufficient power and the OS will then call upon the battery to supply additional power. This may explain the phenomenon you are experiencing regarding the battery drain.

Ciao.

I would agree with Ogelthorpe. I have a Late 2011 MacBook Pro, and when I connect my 45W adapter to it and run the system hard (video rendering) it will drain the battery fairly quickly. Most of the time, the 45W adapter is jsut fine, but during heavy use, the battery will drain.

I wonder if someone swapped adapters with you and you didn't realize it. I know that it is hard for me to tell teh differences between a 60W adapter and an 85W adapter just by external appearance...
