I accidentally blew up my launchpad and dashboard while trying to install the recent flash player. How can I get them back?
iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)
I would really like to hear more details on exactly how you managed to blow up lauchpad and dashboard?

Do you mean they disappeared like in a puff of smoke from your Dock? 😕
If so then go into Applications and drag those icons back down into the dock.

I tried to pull the launchpad ico out of the dock and immediately saw the white blow up cloud! Flash player was telling me to quite launchpad..... I'm a new user of the g5 intel
