so i am missing components, and i do not have any cds or UBS that came with my macbook air
i want to make a anime video right away

How do you know components are missing?
i know i'm missing quicktime player becuase was i click i imovie it say missing quicktime components 😐
Back up all data.
Boot into Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, follow the prompts to reinstall the OS.
