I have been trying to make one of my songs into a ringtone, and when I looked up how to do that, it says that I have to convert the song from an mp3 to an AAC version. Well, I right clicked the song and clicked on Create AAC Version. Once I did that, up top, it says that it is converting and when it it done, a little sound comes up, however, the AAC Version is not there. It is not even in my library.

As soon as the conversion is finished, go into Music view and sort by Date Added. Your newly created AAC will be the newest thing, right there at the top.
In my music library, Date Added is not part of the catagories to sort the songs. How do I add it on?

View > View Options, and check the box under "Stats" for "Date Added."
Okay I did that, but the AAC version is still not there.

That makes me wonder if the conversion was successful....
Go into Music vew and "Search Entire Library" by the song title. You should come up with the two versions, i.e. the original MP3 and the new AAC. Any joy?
There is no two versions, for some reason, they do not show up. I don't know why, but its okay now, I figured out another way to customize ringtones so I don't need to convert the songs. Thank you though!!

Why doesn't the AAC Version appear on my iTunes? It is no where to be found.
