trying to upgrade software from osx 10.5.8 to snow leopard. cant seem to find the link to order the disk, can someone please point me in the right direction.

I have just bought an iphone 5 and i need to upgrade my itunes, but to do this i need to upgrade my operating system from 10.5.8 to snow leopard. I have a macbook, early 2008. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can buy Mac OS X Snow Leopard at the Apple Online Store > http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard


Make a backup before upgrading. After upgrading, open  > Software Update, and install 10.6.8. If you want to install iTunes 10.7 instead of 11, download it from this page > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1576

Check that your Mac meets the System Requirements for Snow Leopard...

If so... Purchase a Snow Leopard Install Disc...

After the Successful Install, run Software Update to get the latest updates for Snow Leopard.


Be sure to make a Backup of your Current System Before Upgrading...
