EOS 6D - iphoto - viewer… not compatible
I have OX Lion10.7.5 with Iphoto 8.1.2 (424) and iPhoto does not accept CR2 (RAW) from EOS6D, neither do viewer… What can I do? Many Thanks. Thierry

Thank you Allen,
Is there any possibilities without buy a new upgrade (iLife) to resolved it?
and what about Viewer and the possibilty to have a sight on the finder when I click on the space bar?
Many thanks
Thierry
Thierry,
Indeed, iPhoto can be upgraded to iPhoto '11 here:
iPhoto '11 (on the Mac App Store)
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/iphoto/id408981381
After upgrading iPhoto and installing the previously linked Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update, you should be able to view RAW photos with QuickLook (by tapping the Space Bar in Finder), as well.
All the best,
Allen
Thanks;
It works...
Just a shame having to pay for a iphoto updating...
especially because... there is no really improvment for a software that I is so much not practical.
I do love apple and I have never understood why iphoto is so ... confuse.
I think apple could have propose an upgrad for the RAW without this trick... to buy this useless iPhoto 🙂
Sorry you are not responsible...
But please pass the word.
Anyway thanks for your help.
Regards
Thierry
