iPod Classic 160gb freezes everytime i connect it to a PC

I have this problem since a year, I have already restored my iPod twice and still doesn`t work. It doesnt mather if the PC has iTunes or not, it happens everytime and with every computer i have used. To make it work i have to press menu+middle button and "restart" it, so it is a little bit annoying. My iPod has the lastest firmware (2.0.4). Please, i need help 😐
