I recently purchased an album from iTunes Store, it came with a digital booklet, a PDF file, but it is listed under music, not books. In the Get Info section under Options, media kind is listed as music, not book and is grayed out so I am unable to change it. Is there a waqy to fix this?

Digital Booklets are supposed to be listed with the media kind of Music. This means they are displayed along with the album they belong to instead of a completely different section of the library.

Others I have are listed as books, I can open them in iBooks on my iPod.
I'm not sure why you can't change the media kind, but if you copy the file from the album folder and paste it into the Automatically Add to iTunes folder you should get a copy that will transfer to iBooks.
