Why wont it download?

I just bought $21 worth of TV Shows and music, and it suddenly had a problem with the internet, so I had to restart the computer. When I logged on about five minutes later I checked the Downloads section the tv shows and music had diassapeared! Is there some way to either get my $21 back or the downloads back? also some previous TV Shows I had downloaded have disappeared.
