Q: My itunes wont let me access the itunes store or update my ipod because it says that 'itunes could not connect to the itunes store. An unknown error has occured'?

i have tried reinstalling and updating itunes on my computer, i have checked my internet and network connections and spent hours trying to figure it out but still nothing! i really need to update my ipod touch from 4.3.5 asap!!!

- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers

OpenDNS IP Addresses
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem
